Stunning poster by Guillaume Corneille (1922-2010), a painter born in Liège to Dutch parents, a founding member of the COBRA group, alongside Constant, Karel Appel, Dotremont, Joseph Noiret, and Asger Jorn, reproducing the Yellow Nude of 1982. This poster has often been shown on television and reproduced in books. An summer poster of a female nude on the beach with a bird. Grand Master of color, in the wake of Gauguin and Matisse, Guillaume Corneille devoted a significant portion of his work to posters, and after having marked postwar abstraction, he embarked on a free, jovial figuration coordinated with the Pop Art movement.
