Gueridon - Tripod guéridon in mahogany and walnut with...

Elegant mid-20th-century Sorrento-style tripod side table. This occasional piece stands out with a superb scalloped top adorned at its center with a fine handcrafted marquetry depicting a multicolored floral bouquet, framed by a delicate frieze of scrolling vines. Resting on a central turned solid-wood shaft and a curved tripodal base, it offers excellent stability. Thanks to its ingenious construction, this side table is particularly light and easy to move, making it an ideal and versatile piece for a living room or entryway. • Condition: Generally good used condition. The piece shows some signs of time and light minor wear on the varnish of the top and on the edges, which attests to its authenticity and adds to its vintage charm. The structure is perfectly sound and stable.
