The Satellit 3400 was Grundig's heaviest and largest shortwave receiver, measuring 52 x 32 x 14 cm and weighing 8.9 kg. A sturdy top carry handle and protective side grips, modeled on commercial marine radios, emphasize the set's portability. In addition to 110 or 220 V mains power, battery power was also provided. Everything works as it should and sounds great, and the huge antenna is functional. The radio also has an additional antenna visible in the photos.
