Toutes les enchères / Tapis, Tapisseries & Textiles / Gobelin-woven tapestry 'Icons of the World' – Urban Fantasy
A tapestry in gobelin fabric featuring a black-and-white graphic composition inspired by travel, big cities, and the most famous international icons. The design is organized in decorative panels that alternate urban views, street signs, monuments, and retro-styled images. Among the subjects depicted are the Statue of Liberty, Uncle Sam, historic Route 66, the Atomium in Brussels, Manneken Pis, Rodeo Drive, and evocative scenes of city life. The gobelin weaving gives the fabric a substantial, tactile surface, highlighting the details of the drawing and creating a pleasant effect similar to a traditional tapestry. The monochrome palette, elegant and versatile, allows it to fit both modern industrial environments and vintage-styled interiors. The rug also features a black perimeter finish, which elegantly defines the composition. Thanks to this finish it can be framed or hung as is, without the need for further processing. Ideal as wall decoration for living rooms, studies, offices, commercial spaces, and environments furnished in urban, industrial, or retro style. A decor accessory with a strong visual impact, perfect for those who love metropolitan atmospheres, the world of travel, and decorations with an original character. CARE INSTRUCTIONS: this fabric requires delicate handling. Hand washing or cold-water machine washing on a delicate cycle is recommended. Do not use bleach. If necessary, iron at a low temperature. NOTE: the images were produced professionally; however, the fabric colors may vary slightly from the actual shade, depending on the screen and device settings used for viewing. COMBINED SHIPMENT: you will receive all won lots together, in a single shipment. If you purchase one or more lots, please contact us before proceeding with payment. Shipment made via tracked express courier. We collaborate with the best auction experts to ensure our products appear in the most prestigious auctions of Catawiki.
