Antique Art Nouveau iridescent glass vase – Ferdinand von Poschinger, circa 1900 A beautiful and rare antique Art Nouveau glass vase, produced by the renowned German glass studio Ferdinand von Poschinger (Glashütte Frauenau) around 1900–1910. This iconic model is also known among collectors as the 'Fleur' vase. The vase is fully hand-blown and finished in a deep golden-brown hue with a stunning iridescent surface that changes color depending on the light incidence. The body is decorated all around with a refined, melted pattern of flowing white glass threads (Fadenauflage or Fenicio technique). The organic design is typical of the high Art Nouveau era: an elegant hourglass shape that culminates in a spectacular, undulating, flaring rim in the form of a flower chalice. In the colors Gold-brown, Amber and White A splendid collectible for lovers of early European art glass, comparable to works from the same period by Loetz (Bohemia) and L.C. Tiffany.
