Gino Romiti – Garden of the Sea, 1954 Painting by Gino Romiti, titled Garden of the Sea, created in 1954. The work presents a suggestive interpretation of the marine world, built through a dense and vibrant painterly weave. The composition, dominated by intense shades of blue, blue and green, is crossed by organic and filamentous shapes that evoke vegetation and submerged organisms. Small accents of red, yellow and orange emerge from the background, contributing to the chromatic richness and depth of the scene. Era: 1954. Dimensions of the work: 38 × 49 cm. Signature: signed Gino Romiti at the bottom right. On the back: an original label of the “Premio Rosignano 1954 – Mostra di Pittura,” bearing the name Gino Romiti and the title of the work Garden of the Sea, an important documentary testimony relating to the artwork’s participation in the 1954 exhibition. The work is presented without a frame. Conditions: the work is in generally good condition, compatible with its age. Please refer to the photographs for a complete assessment of the conservation state of the work and the reverse side. Shipping: the work will be shipped framed, with careful packaging and adequate protections for transport.
