Toutes les enchères / Autres / Gaudí - Chess set - Ajedrez Modernista Gaudí - Copper, Nickel
Gaudí Chess A series of sculptures make up this curious modernist chess set by Antoni Gaudí, featuring some of the artist’s most representative architectural works, such as the Basilica of La Sagrada Familia in Barcelona, reflected in this chess set. The board is white and black marble, in a frame of black-enamelled wood. With dimensions of 30 cm in width and length. The set has a very elegant appearance. The black and white colors of the board and pieces create a beautiful reflection of light and a very nice contrast among all the elements of the set. Judge for yourself the beauty of this set inspired by Gaudí’s ultimate expression of modernism, which, no matter how many years pass, will never go out of fashion.
