Elegant antique French silver pocket watch signed “CHRONOMÈTRE Feuvrier – ÉPINAL” on the dial. This substantial period pocket watch is associated with Charles Feuvrier and the horological workshops of Épinal, a French centre of watchmaking and watch regulation. The white enamel dial is signed “CHRONOMÈTRE Feuvrier ÉPINAL” and features elegant black Arabic numerals, fine minute markings and a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock. The original period hands are retained. The enamel dial has a visible historical repair between approximately 4 and 5 o’clock. This is clearly visible in the photographs and should be taken into consideration when assessing the condition.
