Franco Bencivenga (1953) - Uva in una ciotola

Oil painting on panel depicting Grapes in a bowl by the painter Bencivenga Franco, who graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts of Rome in 1980. This painting is a contemporary still life that represents a bunch of white and black grapes resting inside a white ceramic bowl. The work stands out for a strong figurative, almost hyperrealistic approach, focused on the meticulous study of textures and light. There is an excellent rendering of the grape’s texture thanks to skillful color glazes and the gradual transition from saturated tones to lighter ones; the artist succeeds in evoking the partial transparency of the fruit’s inner pulp beneath the skin... The painting is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from the painter. The size of the painting without a frame is 37x27; the frame will be provided as a gift. A careful packaging and fast shipping are assured.
