Francis Moltino (1818-1874) - Il Canale Grande di Venezia

Provenance: private collection. Unframed dimensions: 77 x 127 cm The work, of excellent artistic and chromatic rendering, is presented in good conservation condition, with signs of aging visible in the photos. The painted film is nevertheless well adhered to the original support. Under Wood's lamp analysis, the artist's signature appears autographic and contemporaneous to the creation of the painting. The frame is included as a courtesy and is not considered an integral part of the artwork.
