Italian early 20th-century frame in baroque taste, with rich vegetal ornaments, scrolls and raised accents at the corners. The gilding and the shadows of the recessed parts give depth to the frieze and make the more expansive surface surrounding the opening stand out. The gold leaf finish and the patina of the surfaces emphasize its historic character. The frame is offered individually, empty, for a new setting or for the restoration of a mount in traditional style. Period: Early 20th century. Country of origin: Italy. Materials: wood and plaster, gilded finish. External dimensions: about 39 × 49 cm, height × width. Internal opening: about 25 × 35 cm, height × width. Depth: about 7.5 cm. Sold empty, without painting, glass or mirror. Good overall condition, with patina, small abrasions and signs of finish wear visible in the details.
