Frame - Wood, Gold - Early 20th century

Impressive gilded frame with geometric decorations and mouldings – Early 20th century Refined and elegant antique frame dating from the early 20th century, characterized by a rich architectural profile with a strong visual impact. The structure stands out for a refined overlay of decorative mouldings: the outer frame features a twisted ribbon (or cord) motif, which frames a smooth, bright band. Moving inward, one appreciates a shaped band with a geometric sequence of ovals and acorns and a delicate beaded moulding that finishes the rabbeted edge. The warm gilded finish, enriched by chiaroscuro effects and a superb original patina, gives the whole piece a solemn and highly prized appearance. An exquisite antique addition, ideal for highlighting important paintings, period oil-on-canvas works, luxurious wall mirrors, or for enriching classical and eclectic interiors with a touch of authentic class.
