Decorative maritime shadow-box display featuring a collection of traditional sailor’s knots and rope techniques, carefully mounted over a nautical chart of the Bay of Algeciras, southern Spain. The arrangement includes numerous hand-tied rope knots, small wooden and metal nautical accessories, a miniature life ring, and a detailed model sailing vessel. Each knot is accompanied by a small brass-style identification plaque, giving the piece an educational as well as decorative character.
