This denomination by contrast is one that has always been scarcely seen and subject to much popularity and increased demand in recent years. Featuring a portrait of President Ulysses S. Grant at center carried over from its large size counterpart where his placement can be traced back to 1913 and back to 1886 with the $5 Silver Certificate, bidders have a wonderful piece in every respect. Held together with the innate allure of gold tied to this popular type and the heavy-handed dictates of Executive Order 6102 imposed by the Roosevelt administration in 1933, it takes little to recognize that this note is sure to see its share of interest.
