Fr. 2212-G. 1934A $1000 Federal Reserve Note. Chicago. PCGS Banknote

Fr. 2212-G. 1934A $1000 Federal Reserve Note. Chicago. PCGS Banknote Choice About Uncirculated 58 PPQ. A truly handsome survivor in any context. This lightly handled $1000 Federal Reserve Note from the Chicago district issued under the Series of 1934A is a note where the numerical grade of "58" is easily overshadowed by numerous albeit more distinctive qualities. Here one may behold a luscious contrast that amplifies uncommon color by virtue of the Treasury overprint while crisp detail speaks to even the smallest details of individual counters and the impeccable detail of Grover Cleveland's portrait. Held together overall and it takes little to figure that this example offers a level of eye appeal and technical sophistication that can be considered truly exceptional for the grade assigned. Estimate: $5,000 - $6,000. Click here for certification details from PCGS Banknote.
