Fr. 2202-C. 1934A $500 Federal Reserve Note. Philadelphia. PMG About Uncirculated 55 EPQ. Burdened with noted originality attested to by the EPQ designation for "Exceptional Paper Quality" applied by PMG, this $500 Federal Reserve Note from the Philadelphia district issued under the Series of 1934A offers much that can be appreciated. From elements such as plain originality that utterly trumps evidence of light circulation to lively color and crisp detail found throughout, it takes hardly anything to realize that this is indeed a premium example of an iconic denomination. To that end, this note would make the perfect example for the collector who has long sought a quality example for themselves without resorting to a lesser specimen that fails to measure up to this one in both aesthetic and technical terms. Estimate: $2,500 - $3,500. Click here for certification details from PMG.
