It serves as a characteristic example of the prevalence of nude photography in the French popular press during the interwar period. Color cover bearing the inscription “To read together—The magazine of full nudity,” with a photograph by Star Presse. Numerous credited photographs, notably by Rapho, Astra, and Alexandra. period advertisements, including a large ad on the back cover for Williams Tailor, 4 rue du Ponceau in Paris, offering custom-made suits starting at 395 francs. Heavily worn copy: cover is severely creased and marked, with numerous tears and breaks, small marginal losses, a weakened spine, and dog-eared and handled pages.
