Flos - Afra & Tobia Scarpa - Wall / Ceiling Lamp - Model "Quarto 453" - 1970s Iconic lamp model Quarto 453, designed by Afra and Tobia Scarpa for Flos in 1973. This piece of pure Italian mid-century modern design can be installed either as a wall sconce or as a ceiling ceiling-plafonnier. The lamp is completely original from the period and perfectly functional, as documented in the photos. It bears the authenticity mark "Flos Quarto 453 - Made in Italy" impressed on both the diffuser and the base of the lamp holder (E27 socket, max 75W). Conditions (Please read carefully): The item is intact in its structure but shows evident signs of time and use (lived-in condition): • Plastic diffuser: It has a chip/break on the lower side edge (see close-up photo). • Metal canopy: The original white paint shows small rust bloom spots and superficial scratches on the lower edge. An ideal piece for collectors, vintage enthusiasts and restorers seeking an icon of Italian design at an affordable price. Photos are part of the description and show the exact condition of the item.
