Florence - Giuseppe Armani - Statue

Elegant figurative sculpture created by Giuseppe Armani for Florence, dated 1992, depicting a young skater in a dynamic and elegant pose. The figure is characterized by the refined typical modeling of Giuseppe Armani's works: slender silhouette, great attention to the movement of the body and the dress, and delicate polychrome rendering of the face and hair. The sculpture presents several original identifying elements: engraved signature “G. Armani”, blue mark with N crowned, impressed inscription “C 1992 FLORENCE” and metal plaque “Giuseppe Armani” applied to the wooden base. The figure is mounted on an elegant curved base in dark wood. Dimensions: 13.5 × 10.5 × 33 cm approx. Weight: approx 1.050 kg. The work is in generally good condition, with normal and slight signs compatible with its age. The photographs are an integral part of the description and show in detail the state of conservation, signature and marks.
