Flavia Delgado - Una familia de cisnes XL (NO RESERVE)

A PAIR OF SWANS is a vibrant and expressive 70 x 100 cm painting by the artist Flavia Delgado. This painting pays homage to connection, tenderness, and belonging. The scene, framed by weeping willows that drape over a tranquil lagoon, shows a pair of adult swans accompanying their chicks on a small aquatic journey. The composition, with a contrasting yet harmonious palette, centers on the white curves of the swans gliding over the deep blue of the water, framed by dense foliage and vibrant flowers. The painting conveys serenity, but also an intimate energy: that of a family in motion. It is not static; there is a subtle journey suggested in the direction of the bodies. The foreground flowers — orange and white — introduce a decorative gesture that alludes to the domestic, to tenderness and care. This work can be read as a metaphor of protection and continuity. The swan family sails calmly, but with a destination, sheltered by the shade of the trees and the gaze of the viewer.
