Flag - Dubbelzijdige vlag NL-F uit 1929

A historic, manually crafted club flag hangs gracefully. The flag is made of light blue and deep royal blue silk, finished with a fine black-yellow-red Belgian border with richly embroidered gold letters that stand out strongly, giving the inscriptions a stately and luxurious appearance. At the top, in large curved gold letters, is the text "Association Générale des Étudiants & Ex-Étudiants". The lower blue field bears the text "École Industrielle Supérieure – Gand" with the years 1827 and 1929, also executed in refined gold embroidery. On the reverse side is the same text but in Dutch .... about Ghent. Along the free edge are four circular medallions with carefully painted symbols representing various technical and industrial disciplines, including drafting instruments, tools, and an anvil. The flag’s characteristic swallowtail shape gives the whole a traditional ceremonial character. The colors of the flag, and especially the gold embroidery, are exquisite and still intact. The whole exudes craftsmanship, academic tradition, and heritage. Dimensions: H 130 cm, W 135 cm, D 1 cm. No damage, no holes, no tears, still completely intact.
