Some time ago, we were lucky enough to be able to purchase a collection of tourmalines and beryls that had been lying dormant in the warehouse of a gemstone dealer in Stockholm since the 1950s. Our goldsmiths designed a ring that presents one of these gemstones accompanied by six diamonds - made from sustainable materials, with diamonds that also have their own history, giving the historic materials a new lease of life. Most of the original gemstones have now been sold. But we went looking for beautiful, bright gemstones again and discovered these beryls in a wonderful color at our gemstone dealer in Idar-Oberstein. It is a natural morganite. Its colour is an iridescent pink, composed of cool rose hues and warm, slightly peachy tones. This unusual shade gives the stone a wonderful presence. The morganite is accompanied by six sparkling diamonds, three on the right and three on the left, which add white highlights. As with all rings in this series, the gold and diamonds are sustainably sourced. They come from pieces of jewellery whose condition unfortunately no longer allowed them to be restored. Here, however, in a new form, they can begin a new life. The morganite alone is part of a piece of jewellery for the first time. We like this ring model because it is straightforward and allows the beautiful gemstone to take center stage. It can also be combined wonderfully - we have several variations on offer!
