Figurine - Pair of Vintage German Kalk Porcelain Rococo...

This beautiful matching pair of vintage porcelain double sweetmeat table centerpieces features elegant figurines in 18th-century Rococo fashion. One figurine depicts a lady playing a lute, and the other shows a seated gentleman holding an open songbook. Both figures recline gracefully next to leaf-shaped bowls decorated with subtle turquoise-green floral flourishes. The pieces feature a striking pastel blue and white glazed palette accented with gold highlights, sitting atop raised, scroll-footed rocaille bases. The back of the bases are stamped with the word "DEPOSE" (registered design). The undersides feature a hand-stamped blue crossed arrows mark next to the letter "S", accompanied by incised batch production numbers (206). These specific hallmarks identify the set as authentic mid-20th century German porcelain manufactured by Porzellanfabrik Kalk (Eisenberg, Germany). Please note that this pair shows signs of wear, including multiple chips along the delicate scalloped rims of the leaf bowls, and will require professional restoration to return to pristine display condition.
