Figurine - Paar Vintage Sōsaku Kokeshi Poppen "Kinkan"...

A beautiful and highly collectible pair of vintage creative (Sōsaku) Japanese Kokeshi dolls. This iconic design bears the title "Kinkan" (金冠), meaning "Golden Crown," and is designed by the renowned and award-winning Kokeshi master Takahashi Hajime. This accompanying pair features a striking modernist aesthetic, characterized by elongated, teardrop-shaped bodies in a stunning black and vibrant red lacquer finish with a contrasting look. The bottoms of the bodies are subtly engraved with traditional geometric motifs, allowing the natural wood grain to show beautifully. Both dolls bear their distinctive wooden "crowns" and have finely hand-painted, serene facial expressions. Condition: In nice vintage condition with light age and wear inherent to the age. Please examine the photos carefully for an accurate impression of the lacquer and patina. No customs duties when shipping within the European Union! The item will be carefully packaged and shipped. Please note that the packaging was done by a private individual and not by a professional service, so perfect packaging quality cannot be guaranteed. Thank you for your understanding.
