Federico Alibrio - Guardian of the Shadows - Leaf Barn Owl

Guardian of the Shadows - Leaf Barn Owl With this ceramic work, Federico Alibrio shapes an iconic and silent presence: the barn owl. Always regarded in ancient symbolism as the guardian of the night and the guide through darkness, this raptor embodies the ability to see what remains hidden to others' eyes, bringing light and awareness into the darkness of the unknown. The sculpture develops along a fluid and essential line, dominated by the owl's tilted and magnetic gaze. The ceramic surface is enriched by a glossy glaze with deep and changing shades: from cobalt blue to octarine green, down to the darkest tones of indigo, evoking the colors of the night and the depths of the twilight sky. The reflections of light on the material create a continuous play of shadows and bright points, giving the piece extraordinary dynamism and an almost mystical aura. "Guardian of the Shadows" is not merely a naturalistic depiction, but a true contemporary totem: a wall artwork capable of imparting elegance, mystery, and profound introspection to any environment. Unique piece, handmade and signed by the artist. The Author's Seal: The Monogram To guarantee the artistic vision and originality of the project, the work bears Federico Alibrio's distinctive monogram. The symbol, which fuses the initials of the artist's name, is an integral part of the design and certifies that every stage of creation, from the original model to the final finish, occurred under his strict aesthetic control. On the back there is a hole to hang on the wall. The work will be shipped in careful packaging with the related certificate of authenticity. The Sicilian artist Federico Alibrio, born in 1995, is always seeking inspiration to grow through new experiences. Graduated in Sculpture in 2021 from the Academy of Fine Arts of Catania, he works in sculpture and painting. He has participated and participates in high-profile cultural exhibitions and symposia, showing commitment and seriousness in approaching the sculptural practice. "Open-minded people find inspiration everywhere" is one of his philosophical approaches. Reality itself is the greatest source of inspiration. His passions are: wild animals (sensitive to endangered species) and trees. His goal is to display the beauty of nature.
