FBB Worcester porcelain basket, c. 1815.

A fine and large Flight Barr and Barr porcelain basket, c. 1815. Beautifully hand painted to the centre, with a titled ‘View of Malvern & Peasantry of the Country’, within a gilt scroll panel, and on a pink ground. Having a broad border of overlapping leaves, heightened in gilt. The entwined handle, terminating in moulded acanthus leaves, and gilded. The basket set upon four gilt lion paw feet.
