Description of the work: Large-format, vertically developed abstract composition built from overlapping blocks of color that articulate like an architecture of planes and windows. Dominated by a palette of intense blues (ultramarine, cobalt and midnight blue), in contrast with black masses worked in pastel on the left margin, raw-toned backgrounds and coral orange and salmon accents. The work stands out for its material richness: the collage of crumpled papers and glazes in bluish greys create textures almost geological, while fine lines of red pastel and graphite strokes traverse the surface, connecting the different zones and adding dynamism and gestural character. The result is a piece with strong presence, combining structure and spontaneity and changing with light and the distance from which it is viewed. Provenance: directly from the artist's studio. The wrinkles and reliefs visible on the surface are intentional parts of the collage technique and are not defects. About the artist: Fátima Razetti (Buenos Aires, 1993) is an Argentine artist based in Barcelona, with more than 15 years of practice in the art field. She trained at art academies in Buenos Aires and has participated in various art fairs (Bada, MAPA). Her work focuses on abstraction through mixed media, combining acrylic painting, collage and pastel. She works with the layering of materials to build compositions where geometric structure and free gesture coexist, with an expressive use of color and particular attention to texture and matter. Her career also includes extensive experience in art direction and creative direction, reflected in the compositional and chromatic balance of her pieces.
