Exquisite Vintage Bangle With Ruby & Diamonds in White Gold, c. 1975

Fire and ice, warmth and cold, desire and resistance – so many moments in life achieve their charm only through their contrast. This bangle from the 1970s achieves its special fascination from such a tension, which arises from its selected precious materials. The bangle is made of high-carat white gold and wraps itself around the wrist as a narrow band. In its center, it presents a precious gemstone arrangement: a ruby is flanked here by two beautiful brilliant cut diamonds, creating a play of fiery and cool hues in red and white. The natural ruby weighs about 1.90 carats, while the two diamonds together weigh in at about 0.89 carats. The intensive colour of the ruby and the quality of the diamonds (G, vvsi) are particularly impressive. Airy white gold prongs hold the gemstones and allow for optimal light penetration. Thus, the stones can wonderfully unfold their fire. According to the hallmark, the bangle was exported to Salzburg between 1965 and 2001. We discovered this beautiful piece in Vienna. We have commissioned an independent appraisal, which confirms the quality of the materials. It is enclosed with the bangle.
