Ernst Wahliss, Art Nouveau Centerpiece & Bust Ernst Wahliss (Austro-Hungarian, 1863-1905), circa 1900. Comprising a centerpiece with a maiden and cupid (impressed numeric marks "4725" and "22" and painted numeric marks "4275", "273", and "II."), and a bust of a laurel draped maiden (impressed numeric marks "4728" and "19" and painted numeric marks "H728", "273", and "12"), both having a gilded green metallic glaze. Both appropriately marked. Approximate dimensions: Centerpiece: 7 1/2 x 12 1/2 x 5 3/4 in. (19.1 x 31.8 x 14.6 cm.) Provenance: Private Collection of Mary Ann Campbell, Temple, GA.
