Engelse cardanische wandlamp met dubbele brander - Nautical lamp - Copper

Stunning original antique ship's wall lamp with a cardan suspension from the 1930s. The cardan suspension is used to keep the lamp level with respect to the horizon, despite the jolts and rolls of the ship. It is an English oil lamp with a double burner. Double burners are rare and provide a perfect burn and thus a nicer light. Both burners are marked: Made in England. The lamp is solid and weighs almost 3 kg—a quality you rarely see. This lot has been carefully cleaned and will be carefully packaged, sent by registered mail and insured (with Track & Trace code so you can follow the shipment). Pickup in (Ridderkerk- South Holland) is also possible. I have tasty hand-ground coffee.
