Jewellery is not worn solely for adornment. Rather, jewellery is also a means of communication, which - partly immediately understandable, partly encoded - can literally speak. The statement conveyed by this white gold ring is of a romantic nature. For it presents us with 24 brilliant cut white diamonds and a natural, dark red ruby in a cushion cut: the red of the ruby has made the gemstone a symbol of flaming passion for many millennia, and diamonds are regarded as symbols of eternity - which here, strong and indestructible, protects the love blazing in the centre of the ring. The fine ruby is set in the centre of the slightly sloped ring head and two rows of fine white diamonds surround the precious gemstone with white fire. The settings of the gemstones are completely restrained in design, as the high-carat white gold used here takes a back seat to the beauty of the gemstones, presenting them elegantly and unobtrusively. The classic entourage ring, created in the years around 1970 at the Schilling goldsmiths in Biberach, is particularly suitable as an engagement ring or love gift for a special person due to its romantic symbolism. The fine jewel found its way to us in the Rhineland and is forged by hand from high-carat white gold. The unique ring is delivered with a detailed certificate from the German Society for Gemstone Appraisal Idar-Oberstein.
