Elastolin - Figure - Seltene Original Elastolin Burg mit Figuren u.a

Rare original Elastolin castle with figures among others - WWII among others (see pictures) 1 x castle + 9 soldiers among others / rare figures Elastolin: mass figures were produced as early as 1880 in Austria by the Vienna-based company Emil Pfeiffer, which became world-famous for the "loving and colorful painting" of its figures. Around 1900 production began in Germany. Similar to tin figures, it covered an enormous range of themes, but primarily depicted war toys. Accessories such as vehicles were usually made of sheet metal; occasionally there were mixed forms, for example tin carriages with crews and horses made of mass. Since other manufacturers mostly adhered to Hausser's size standards, the products were often interchangable. As many manufacturers did not specialize solely in war toys but also portrayed organizations and leadership of the NS regime in their figures, after World War II a revival of production in all occupied zones of Germany was difficult. Very nice collection of detailed figures. A must for every collector.
