Toutes les enchères / Monnaies & billets de collection / El Paso, Texas. $10 1882 Date Back. Fr. 545. First NB. Charter #2532.

El Paso, Texas. $10 1882 Date Back. Fr. 545. First NB. Charter #2532. PCGS Banknote About Uncirculated 53. Representative of a short-lived type spawned after the passage of the Aldrich-Vreeland legislation in 1908. This barely circulated Series of 1882 $10 Date Back issued by the First National Bank of El Paso (Charter# 2532) offers much for both the type-focused collector and collector of Texas Nationals. Here excellent eye appeal is the norm and comes brought to form by the vignettes entitled Franklin and Electricity and America Seizing the Lightning which can be seen at left and right while the signatures of Cashier Edgar W. Kayser and President James G. McNary offer a pleasing impression bound to be noticed. Held together with the relative rarity of Series of 1882 Date Backs at this grade level, it takes little to figure that this very note is bound to see its share of interest from bidders before the hammer falls. Estimate: $1,250 - $1,750. Provenance: From the Jack Copeland Currency Collection, Part IV. Click here for certification details from PCGS Banknote.
