Piano Construction In Piano Construction, the artist arranges the musical scene from a structure of broad shapes, diagonals, and chromatic fields that converge at the keyboard as the nucleus of the composition. The figures appear reduced to their essential elements and integrate within a pictorial architecture where body, gesture, and instrument form a visual unity. Blues, greens, earth tones, and ochres articulate naturally, while the black and white of the keys introduce an immediate rhythm that orders the entire surface. The hands take on special prominence by establishing the point of contact between the figures and the piano. Through that gesture, the work suggests not only the action of playing but also a relationship of shared concentration, where the music seems to emerge from the formal construction of the painting itself. In Piano Construction, the artist proposes a contemporary vision of the musical theme, understanding painting as a way to organize rhythm, volume, and harmony within a single space.
