A short letter addressed to the composer and musicologist Maurice Emmanuel (1862–1938), in which Dubois expresses concern about an urban development project: “No news about Rue de Châteaudun. What is the number—and the name of the establishment?” Maurice Emmanuel, a French composer and musicologist, was notably a student of Théodore Dubois at the Paris Conservatory.
