Dominique Kleiner - Échiquier d’Art de Prestige –...

HERMÈS – THE ODYSSEY OF THE ABYSSES Prestige Art Chessboard – Creation by DOMINIQUE KLEINER – Limited Edition No. 1/30 When the art of chess meets timeless elegance and the mysteries of the ocean depths. Discover an exceptional artistic creation, imagined and crafted by DOMINIQUE KLEINER, a French artist based in Fécamp. This collectible chessboard marries the elegance of deep blue, the richness of baroque ornamentation, and the visual power of a majestic octopus unfurled at the heart of the board. The 40 × 40 cm board, made in aluminum, features a refined graphic composition, enhanced by royal blue and ivory contrasts. Every detail contributes to a luxurious aesthetic, between the marine universe, the tradition of decorative arts, and haute couture inspiration. 32 sculptural pieces, a true miniature work of art. The pieces, born from the artist’s own creation, are made of resin and completely hand-painted, piece by piece, with remarkable painstaking care. Their baroque reliefs, their arabesques, and their delicate patinas testify to many hours of artisanal work. Two worlds harmoniously respond to one another: a deep blue with metallic tones and an ivory patinated with delicate antique finishes. Towers, knights, bishops, kings and queens become true miniature sculptures, giving this ensemble an exceptional artistic presence. A rare edition intended for collectors. This exemplar is numbered 1 of a limited edition of only 30 copies. A singular piece, at the crossroads of contemporary art, collectible objects, and prestige interior decoration. More than a simple chess game, this creation is a decorative art object, aimed at lovers of original creations, handcrafted pieces, and refined universes.
