In 1924 he settled in Oud-Loosdrecht. Inspired by his new surroundings, from that moment he mainly painted flowers, decorative landscapes and water lilies, drawing inspiration from the water-rich North Holland landscape. For most of his works he designed a matching frame. Dimensions of the canvas 50x40 cm Dimensions including frame 67.5x57.5 cm The frame shows some signs of aging, but the overall condition is good.
