Dieter Wulff Oil Painter August 12, 1929 (Gdańsk) – † December 30, 2010 (Leonberg/Stuttgart)** https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dieter_Wulff https://kunst-wulff.de/ “Sunny Path” by Dieter Wulff This mood-filled oil painting shows a sunlit path leading through a lush tree landscape to a rural homestead. Particularly appealing is the lively play of light and shadow. While the treetops in varying shades of green frame the path, warm yellow and ochre tones on the ground and in the vegetation create effective light accents. The reddish roofs of the homestead form a harmonious contrast to the surrounding green. Dieter Wulff works with a expressive, partly impasto brushwork. The clearly visible brushstrokes give the landscape vitality and a pronounced spatial depth. Why this work? The painting impresses with its lively lighting and its expressive brushwork. The path draws the viewer’s gaze directly into the depth of the image and creates an inviting, almost narrative atmosphere. With its generous format of 51 × 72 cm and the harmonious fusion of landscape, architecture and sunlight, it is a characteristic example of Dieter Wulff’s landscape painting.
