signed and dated 'Middleton '66' l.l., also signed, inscribed with the artist's Paris address and dated verso, oil on canvas, 50 x 73cm; unframed, Rosebery's, London, 11 September 2007, lot 1233, where acquired by the present owner. Condition Report, Condition Report, Painted straight onto canvas that had not been treated. The weave of the canvas appears to be a little thin in places with a small patch repair verso in the upper left quarter. The application of paint is thin in places, however appears to be the intention of the artist rather than a later condition issue. The vendor has advised that the painting has recently been restored and cleaned. Not examined under UV light, for a full report please contact the department.
