Decorative tray (2) - France

Very beautiful set of two vintage service trays of complementary sizes, from the Art Deco era (1930s-1940s). This lot is a superb example of tableware art and popular art from the early 20th century, with manufacturing styles that harmonize perfectly. Each piece features woodwork typical of the modernist period: • The first tray (tall form): characterized by a high curved rear edge and wide side handles sculpted with geometric lines and swirls. The under-glass decor reveals a large panoramic landscape. • The second tray (low form): flatter, framed by textured carved wooden borders and two clean, solid handles. The under-glass background depicts a countryside landscape by the water with traditional dwellings. The illustrations are crafted with great finesse in wood pyrography, enhanced by discreet touches of hand-painted colors, all protected by the original glass panels. - Size of Tray 1: length 60.5 cm, width 30 cm, height with handles 5 cm, weight 2 kilograms - Size of Tray 2: length 50 cm, width 31.5 cm, height with handles 4.5 cm, weight 1.8 kilograms Overall in good condition Careful, fast shipping, delivered to your home
