Decorative ornament - Italy - Silverplate swan bowl

An elegant vintage swan bowl in silver-plated metal, with beautifully detailed feathers modelled from beak to tail. The wings sweep up to form a deep, sculptural bowl, and the long curved neck gives it real presence on a dining table, console or coffee table. Use it as a centrepiece for fruit, flowers or small treasures, or let it stand on its own as a decorative object. It has the glamorous Hollywood Regency look, and it sits happily in mid-century and modern interiors alike. Heavy, solid quality and unmarked. Probably 1960s-1970s. Condition: good vintage condition with signs of age. Natural patina inside the bowl and light wear to the plating. Please see the photos, which form part of the description. Carefully packed and shipped with tracking.
