Pair of antique solid bronze friezes. > - Weight: 800 g each – 1.6 kg total > - Dimensions: Length 14 cm x Height 6 cm x Thickness 3 cm Material: solid bronze, lost-wax cast, pierced, Rocaille/early Louis XV Baroque style with double acanthus-spiral volute Era: late 19th to early 20th century Conditions: original patina from the period with traces of gilding, no breakages, heavy and well-defined casting. Rough back with small supporting feet as shown in the photo. Ideal for restoration of a dresser, tall dresser, antique furniture, fireplace, doorway, or as decorative desk ornaments/ luxury paperweight accents. They are not modern reproductions cast in brass; they are antique solid bronze.
