De Soto, Nebraska. Western Land & Exchange Company. 1857 $2. PMG Choice

De Soto, Nebraska. Western Land & Exchange Company. 1857 $2. PMG Choice Very Fine 35 EPQ. Remainder. No. None. Plate A. A noted rarity from Nebraska's Territorial period. This moderately handled Remainder attributable to the Western Land & Exchange Company comes anchored by a vignette entitled Finding the Red Ear seen just below the bank title and guarantee text while a portrait of Jackson can be seen at left. A total of (6) rounded POCs are noticed and are concurrent with the signature panels including the penned signature of the bank's Cashier seen at left. Very possible that our estimate may soon prove conservative in retrospect based on Proof realizations. PMG comments "Punch Hole Cancelled." Estimate: $200 - $300. Provenance: From the Caine Collection.

Estimation:€106.57
