Small turning globe-shaped vase with rotating decor of oxide inclusions in blue and red on a green-blue background. Signed "Degué" at the tip in the decor (see photo no. 9). Period: 1926 - 1939. Like MULLER FRERES, LALIQUE, SABINO, SCHNEIDER, David GUERON known as DEGUE (1892 - 1950) was one of the great master glassmakers of the Art Deco period. He produced many chandeliers, ceiling fixtures and lamps, as well as vases that are among the most sought-after pieces. Very beautiful luxury workmanship (scarcely any bubbles, lovely transparency effects), with a nice clear trace of the pontil on the base (photo no. 5). Excellent condition: no chips, no scratches, no cracks, no restorations. Only a few extremely fine micro-scratches from use are noted. The photos are an integral part of the description.
