The world-machine, depicted according to the laws of nature and moved by a peculiar and surely combined mechanism, together with a series of corresponding auxiliary devices. For clear illustration to all who do not wish to forgo a closer acquaintance with the wondrous universe, the undersigned has placed his self-made large astronomical apparatuses as the fruit of twelve years’ labor in the Royal Odeon on the second floor for public viewing. The mechanic Scharff, who died in 1862, produced among other things a Tellurium, which illustrated the orbit of the planets around the sun.
