Cyril Keller - Whisper To You

My name is Cyril Keller. I was born on September 12, 1978 in the Saarland region. My enthusiasm for art began in the early 1990s with graffiti. Even then I was fascinated by colors, shapes and the possibility to give my ideas a unique expression. This passion still forms the foundation of my work today. I was particularly shaped by my teacher and mentor, the artist Parscha Mirghawameddin. It was with him that I learned to paint. His sense for color, his eye for composition and his artistic experience were of great importance to my development. As his pupil I was able to benefit from a knowledge and a passion that still accompanies me today. I am very grateful to Parscha for sharing his experiences with me and for supporting me on my artistic path. Learning from him was a special opportunity for me. On this basis I developed my own visual language and found my personal approach to painting. Since 2015 I have dedicated myself with great enthusiasm to abstract art. I am especially fascinated by the squeegee technique: the interplay of color layers, the structures that emerge and the surprising forms that give each painting its own character. Here, learned craftsmanship merges with intuition and the joy of experimentation. My paintings are meant to enliven spaces, awaken emotions and give viewers lasting joy. Each work leaves room for one’s own thoughts and discoveries. It is precisely this openness that makes abstract painting so special for me: a painting can mean something different to every person and reveal new facets again and again over time. With every canvas I develop my work further — carried by my artistic roots, the valuable impulses of my teacher, and the desire to create something of my own. The canvas is unstretched and is carefully rolled in a shipping tube before dispatch. An authenticity certificate is included in the delivery.
