Lucid литern cup and its porcelain saucer from Paris Rich litron cup in hard porcelain, accompanied by its original saucer, dating from refined productions of the Empire period. The set is distinguished by a particularly meticulous ornamentation, largely enhanced with gold. Plant garlands, stylized flowers, little borders and frames unfold with richness while maintaining harmony in the composition. At the center of the decor, a shield stands out against a white background treated to imitate marble. It hosts a female antique profile, evocative of cameos or hard stones, reflecting a taste very characteristic of the early 19th century, nourished by references to Antiquity. This type of motif, both ornamental and evocative, fully reflects the neoclassical aesthetics then in vogue, where references to ancient art mingle with a refined decorative search.
