Toutes les enchères / Autres / Cruet set (3) - Antique Victorian Silver-Plated & Cut...
An elegant antique oil and vinegar set (late Victorian era), masterfully crafted from silver-plated metal and cut glass (or crystal). Manufactured in Sheffield, England, by the renowned firm Atkin Brothers. Design and features: This exquisite table set comprises a silver-plated stand featuring openwork and chased detailing, resting on four decorative Rococo-style feet adorned with foliate motifs. The central upright rises to form an elegant carrying loop decorated with classic scrollwork. The stand holds two original blown-glass (or crystal) vessels designed for oil and vinegar. These vessels are exquisitely decorated with hand-engraved matte floral and foliate patterns; they come complete with original faceted glass stoppers and feature elegantly curved handles. Construction and hallmarks: The underside of the base features a classic, authentic wing-nut assembly connecting the central handle to the base, allowing for easy disassembly and cleaning. The base bears clear manufacturer's marks—"ATKIN BROTHERS" and "SHEFFIELD"—along with the model's serial number: "2159". The photographs form part of the description. The item will be securely packed for shipping.
