Crucifix - Patinated bronze

Catalan‑style crucifix, in the manner of Modest Morató Ojer (Barcelona, 1909–1993), Spain, mid‑20th century. The figure of Christ in patinated bronze with inserts of polychrome cloisonné enamels presents a frontal and hieratic composition clearly inspired by Catalan Romanesque sculpture and the medieval revival characteristic of part of Morató's output and his milieu. A collectible piece, of great charm and character. Good overall condition. Impressive dimensions, about 41 x 29 cm. Proper packaging and fast shipping.
