An 18-piece set of crystal glasses from Cristal D'Arques. The set consists of 6 champagne flutes, 6 small wine glasses and 6 liqueur glasses. Matignon is the official French name of this specific Cristal d'Arques collection. The name directly references the famous Hôtel de Matignon, the official residence of the French prime minister in Paris. Features of the Matignon line: • The Empire design: an elegant, finely etched motif of grapevines and leaf garlands. • The faceted, cut stem: unlike many other series, this model has a hexagonal stem that transitions to a smooth, round foot. • 24% lead crystal: These vintage glasses from the 1970s and 1980s are made of lead crystal (cristallin au plomb). The +/- sizes: H 10 x D 4.5 cm H 12 x D 5 cm H 17.5 x D 4.5 cm The condition is excellent; there are no notable signs of use. We invite you to look closely at the photos. These were taken in daylight and sharpened to clearly show the details. After purchase, the items will be individually, carefully packed in this box-in-a-box, registered and insured for shipment.
